Mostly made up of Grecanico, a centuries old Sicilian grape variety, La Segreta is a wine that focuses on pleasant citrus like floral notes which on the palate become gentle white peach, pineapple and just a hint of vanilla. Viognier gives the wine seductively tropical aromatic forays, and a volume of taste that pleasantly balances the smoother aspect of the mouthfeel which goes with almost everything. Perfect with salad and pasta seasoned with a light sauce, with rice balls or a brioche stuffed with cheese.

Wine with a lovely intense and transparent ruby red color. From the eyes to the nose the color of this wine is transformed into the scent of redcurrant and mulberry, along with a rhythmical and tenuous mentholated ending. The wine’s mouthfeel reveals its essential style in the drinkability encouraged by the vibrant sensations of ripe mixed berries.The very gentle, smooth and velvety tannins make this wine very versatile and multifaceted. It’s best served with light meat dishes, vegetables and seared fish. It can even be paired with caponata: the sweetness of the dish blends in with the aromas of the wine.

The fuchsia color of the strawberries is immediately reminiscent of the most aromatic trace of this rosé: the wild strawberry. Summer wine to be enjoyed fresh as an apéritif, with raw fish, or with crisp salads. The vein of refreshing acidity, reminiscent of the pomegranate, makes it thirstquenching and pleasant. A light floral touch is mixed with the subtle tropical scents, leaving the mouth clean and dry. Perfect when served with olives, toasted almonds or pickled tomatoes, as well as with fish appetizers.

Strong red wine, built upon a sturdy, important tannic pattern, balanced by its decidedly alcoholic nature. The strength of its taste focuses on a very dense fruit rich in pulp.The flavors are those of blueberries and cherries preserved in alcohol mixed with leather, while intense fragrances of bougainvillea, iodine and rosemary gradually spring forth. A decisive, energetic wine to be enjoyed alone, or paired with food that has a strong character: stews or game, spicy, intense food.

Fiano from calcareous clayey soil which contributes to bringing out the aroma of the Mediterranean maquis so typical of this grape variety. So, in between broom and thyme, we can trace the delicate scents of chamomile, hay and tangerine. Mineral and sapid palate with a silky ending and a very refined aftertaste of ripe apricots, almond blossoms and basil leaves. Best paired with grilled fish and white meat seasoned with aromatic herbs.

Violet and purple in color, the pure expression of Sicilian vineyards, Nero d’Avola, is the ideal accompaniment for grilled meat and vegetables. Originally from an old vineyard cultivated around Lake Arancio, Plumbago smells of ripe plums and wild blackberries, and it also features pleasantly complex aromatic nuances of incense, jasmine and black truffle. The woof and warp of the tannin is soft and seductive. Best served with barbecued meat which goes well with its smoked tones and has a natural sweetness.

Wine that’s a rubypurplish color and that hails from the vines cultivated on the red sands of the Hyblaean Mountains.The fragrance of ripe black cherries mixes with that of cardamom, vanilla and cinnamon. The mature, soft tannin melts in the mouth thanks to an incredibly fruity sweetness, Oriental spices are combined with the complex flavors of smoked bacon, cooked must, marjoram and prickly pears. Its sapid complexity is an excellent match for stewed fish and meat, but also spicy fish with an Asian touch.

After a slightly late harvest, a drying phase, which lasts about a month and a half, and the loss of 50% of its original weight, a high concentration of sugars is obtained, along with some enzymatic reactions that contribute to the extraordinary fragrance of dried rose petals, jasmine and papaya. Very sweet, fullbodied mouthfeel with flavors of sesame seeds, ginger, apricot and citrus fruit, refreshed with a balanced acidic note that confers a long taste on the ending. Ideally paired with every kind of dessert, but especially with cookies possibly enriched with dried fruit.
